Commercial Roofing and Construction
At Level 1, we understand that when the building that houses your business or non-profit organization sustains storm damage, it affects more than the building. It interrupts your day-to-day operations; creates safety issues for your employees, customers, or members; and leaves your building and products exposed to additional damage—and all those things affect your bottom line. Contact us before you file an insurance claim. We deal with insurance companies daily, and we can help you navigate the claims process. If it becomes necessary to resort to the appraisal process or to retain the services of a public adjuster to get a fair settlement, we can walk with you through that process, too.
Our Project Managers are accustomed to working with insurance adjusters, and are trained to check for hidden or collateral damage that insurance adjusters may overlook. As storm restoration experts, we know that commercial buildings have commercial problems. Specialized roofing materials, massive footprints, multiple buildings, large or numerous HVAC units, skylights, and many other issues can complicate your storm restoration. As a general contractor, we can fix whatever is damaged. We are equipped to coordinate the variety of trades that it takes to get you back to ͞business as usual.
Inspection and Review
One of our highly-qualified project managers will conduct a full on-site assessment of your buildings and property and if a claim is warranted, we will collect the information to submit. We work with insurance companies every day, so we know what information they need. We document the damage we find with photos, videos, and/or notes, so there is no question regarding the severity of your loss. This practice reduces disputes and greatly increases your chances for a fully-approved claim. When we are finished, we review our findings with you, so you have a clear picture of the damage to your property.
While we are on-site, we can also make emergency repairs to minimize your business losses during the claims process.
Meet the Adjuster
Your project manager will also meet with the assigned insurance adjuster for the walk-through of your property. We know that recognizing and assessing storm damage takes years of practice, and we are there to ensure the adjuster recognizes the extent of the damage and what is required for a complete restoration. An agreement on the scope of the repairs speeds and smooths the claim approval process.
Review The Adjuster’s Estimate
When the adjuster writes their estimate for repairs, you receive a copy. We review the estimate, and address any issues for work or materials that may be missing. If it becomes necessary to resort to the appraisal process or to retain the services of a public adjuster to get a fair settlement, we walk with you through that process, too. When a revised scope is received, the restoration work begins.
Restore Your Building
Our experienced subcontractors go to work, restoring your business or organization to a 100% operational status. We work with your schedule, and we are careful to follow any special instructions. Because your time is valuable, your project manager schedules, coordinates, and supervises the labor for you—so you can focus on taking care of business.
Get Back to Work
When the work is complete, you can get back to doing whatever it is you do—whether that is buying, selling, worshipping, educating, or providing community services. We’re always proud to be a part of helping you succeed.
